...because a poor man with a child is not a statistic.
He is a father.

|Color Him Father Foundation (CHFF)merges civil society with the private sector to create better ways to inspire and motivate African companies and their working fathers to create a nurturing home environment for their children. We bring together accomplished corporations, diaspora communities, government and non-governmental partners, and likeminded citizens around the world to create a stronger civil society and workforce in impoverished nations by emboldening the father through customized fatherhood empowerment programs. Programs delivered in the workplace develop and sustain core fatherhood values and promote the importance of a sound purposeful fatherhood figure to the family, community, and the company. Our grassroots-led network of service providers identifies, utilizes, and molds local talent to deliver effective fatherhood programs. We seek to embolden community leaders and sponsor fatherhood leadership and entrepreneurial programs to sustain our future endeavors. Our unique business model utilizes social media and web-based “B2B” trade tools and commercial advocacy to promote exemplary African companies to U.S. markets and identify leads for American exporters.
We engage directly with already-established local business and industry chambers in Africa and implement pledge-based programs within their members’ companies. We encourage availability of fatherhood services within the workplace, including, but not limited to, organized outreach, counseling, coaching, mentoring, job placement, financial/household skills, HIV-AIDS awareness, and father-to-son programs.
We utilize an inclusive and cohesive local partners network of local service-providers focusing on on-the-ground expertise and knowhow. We continually seek to identify best practices and implement target priorities based on local needs, training, resources, and cultural constraints.
To help future fathers prepare for the future, we focus on entrepreneurial development, skills training, and leadership skills. Father-to-Son mentoring is used to facilitate a loving and meaningful transition from school to work.
To grow and sustain grassroots efforts, we provide greater support and resources to highly successful fathers who embrace core fatherhood values and show the necessary character and moral compass to lead.
We harvest partnerships with good stewards to build the monetary means, values system, and goodwill necessary to get the job done. We rely on close ties with likeminded southern-based U.S. companies and universities, churches and faith-based organizations, diaspora communities, Rotary and civic groups; social change foundations, and state and local business groups.
Our unique business model utilizes social media and web-based “B2B” outreach tools to showcase success stories to a large network of likeminded U.S. companies seeking to do business in Africa. Business promotion and commercial advocacy programs based in Atlanta plan and implement trade capacity, facilitate matchmaking, create business linkages, and expand entrepreneurial spirit across Africa.
An effective fatherhood awareness outreach strategy showcases Corporate Social Responsibility successes that emphasize the growing need for civil society priorities that support—rather than break down—traditional family values.
